Employing the sleekness of classic film-noir mixed with the editing style that KOE has become known for, the film is about one fateful night in the 1940s in nowheresland gone awry when a drunken bar owner, GUNN, with a debt to one FINN THE SHARK seeks the assistance of his connected nephew, YOUNGBLOOD. Gunn has fallen late on his payments, see, and he's about to find himself at the bottom of the river wearing a spankin' new set of concrete goloshes. Youngblood calls in a favor for his black sheep uncle from a chickadee with whom he shares a past, MISS SUNSHINE, who just so happens to be the Queen of the Town. This dame knows everything about everybody and she never hooks a fish she can't gut. When it comes to matters related to Youngblood, well, now, she'll just about do any ol' thing.

Few walk away from this mess, and in the end it's the same ol' story: don't hook a fish ya can't gut.
